Israel and Moses Cavazos
Brothers Israel and Moses Cavazos turned a shared interest in automation into a future in advanced manufacturing through CNM’s Mechatronics program. Their internships at Intel provided hands-on experience with cutting-edge equipment and mentorship from experienced engineers, preparing them to meet New Mexico’s growing workforce demands.
The job options are almost endless, and I want to encourage others to give this program a try so they can see how many doors are open to them.

“I have really enjoyed working with CNM interns
because of the quality education they receive before
their internship. They come to us knowing what will
be expected of them and with a fi rm understanding
of foundational HVAC principles. All in all, I am grateful
to work with CNM interns and help bridge the gap
between what they’ve learned in the classroom and
what they will be doing in the fi eld.”
